Pete Forno

Owner & Director

Pete Forno is co-owner of Mountain City Center for the Arts and lends his technical skills and capabilities to the MCCA team. Pete has worked in the telecommunications industry for 20 years and his current position is with a California-based telecom equipment manufacturer. He enjoys assisting the MCCA staff behind the scenes and in the sound booth as well as helping his wife Coty with the day-to-day business operations.

Pete is a graduate of Frostburg State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in mathematics. He later received his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in international business and technology from Shenandoah University. He studied abroad in China during his MBA program.

Don’t let Pete’s technology focus fool you though; he is an actor at heart. As a child, he performed in many shows at The Red Barn Theatre in Ellwood City, PA including roles alongside his father, Peter B Forno, and working together with his entire family providing assistance backstage. Later, Pete performed again with his family starring in several community dinner theatre productions.

In 2014, Pete, alongside Coty, started the Beyond the Stage Foundation to assist in providing tri-state area students arts related eduction opportunities. Annually, the Peter B Forno scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving area students.

In his free time, Pete serves on the National Ski Patrol at Wisp resort and is a certified first responder. Pete is honored to be part of the MCCA team and have the opportunity to work with the extremely talented staff and students.
