Jacki Dixon

Jacki Dixon is honored to be a part of the energetic team at Mountain City Center for the Arts. She is celebrating 4 years on the MCCA staff, where she teaches Private Piano Lessons, Teen Acting, and the Teen Musical Theatre Workshop. She recently directed the MCCA Summer Camp production of Junie B. Jones the Musical Jr. and is thrilled to be directing Fame Jr. later this year as a part of MCCA’s 5 Year Anniversary Season Celebration. Jacki serves as Production Stage Manager on most MCCA Productions and Showcases, and also coordinates volunteers for Community Service Projects.

She studied Theatre Directing and Production at Frostburg State University and spent close to ten years working at both community and professional theatres in the Annapolis area. She has directed and stage-managed more than 30 Annapolis-area productions, including serving as Assistant Director for the Ruby Griffith Award-winning production of Shipwrecked! The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as told by himself). Jacki was also the Program Director for Spalding Theatre Productions at Archbishop Spalding High School for five years, where she directed two plays each year and instructed Improv and College Audition workshops. Jacki could not be more thrilled that her life’s journey brought her back to Frostburg and is eternally grateful to be making magic and memories at MCCA each day!
