Michaela Linn-Hale

Michaela is delighted to join MCCA this fall. Being the Director of Choirs and Performing Arts Director at Mountain Ridge High School, Michaela recently earned a Master of Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory. Michaela is also a proud music alum from Frostburg State University. While being a teacher for Allegany County, Michaela was pivotal in bringing musical theatre back to the Frostburg high school. Her choirs have consistently received superior ratings in the county choral festivals. Her Concert Choir has been selected to sing at Walt Disney World in November and has a standing invitation to sing the National Anthem for the Altoona Curve. Michaela has been a guest adjudicator for Washington County Public Schools and will be the guest senior high choral director for the Washington County Choral Festival this October. In recent years, Michaela has been in the role of director for many productions, however, she is no stranger to the stage herself. Some of her favorite roles and shows include: Mother Abyss (Sound of Music), The Emcee (Cabaret), Aldonza and Antonia (Man of La Mancha) Nancy (Oliver). Michaela had the honor of being named Teacher of the Year for Allegany County for the 2008-2009 school year.
